BlackBerry Bold 9900 and 9930 Smartphones Full Touch Demo at Blackberry World 2011
The Blackberry Bold 9900 and 9930 have been finally announced at Blackberry World 2011 conference held in Orlando, Florida. The greatly anticipated handsets were previously rumored as Blackberry Dakota / Blackberry Magnum and Blackberry Montana. However, Research in Motion (RIM), blackberry’s manufacturer, have chosen to call them the Bold Touch 9900 and 9930 respectively.
The new models boast a 1.2 GHz processor, HD playback and recording at 720p, zero shutter delay lag for photography, very responsive touch user interface through what they call Liquid Graphics Capabilities which is a new feature to be supported by Blackberry OS 7, universal search capabilities and takes advantage of Near Field Communication (NFC).
Here’s their first video from Blackberry World with product managers, Michael Dawson and Jason Jacob demonstrating some of the capabilities of the phone, especially the touch features of the handheld.
